Welcome to Trinity
Sunday Morning is a great time for fellowship and gathering at Trinity which meets weekly at 9:30 a.m. between our first and second services. Members, friends, and visitors are all welcome to come to this time of conversation, fellowship, and learning. Most recently, we have studied the impact that stress and busy schedules have on the individual. For those of us who attend Trinity, stress is not a foreign concept. What do we do with stress? How do we apply the Biblical principles to the many demands facing each of us everyday? Together, we have explored some of the essential steps for dealing with a stress-filled life from a biblical perspective.
What is Discipleship?
Discipleship, Sunday school, and Small Groups offer a variety of ways to connect with people throughout the week (not just Sunday) about our faith and walk with the Lord! If Sunday school is not the best discipleship option for you on Sunday morning, Trinity offers other options for growing in relationship with others and the Lord. Bible Study is held every second and fourth Monday from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Trinity.
What’s New in Discipleship?
In the near future, Trinity will be offering a special discipleship series based on the Biblical Principles of Peacemaking created by Peacemaker Ministries. We will examine the difficulty which conflict brings into the life of individuals, families, friends, and even churches. Best of all, we can benefit from transformational peacemaking that comes from the Lord!
Peace in My Life – I Want to be a Peacemaker!
Peacemaker Ministries states:
“As people reconciled by God by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we believe that we are called to respond to conflict in a way that is remarkably different from the way the world deals with conflict. (Matt.5:9; Galatians 5:19-26). We also believe that conflict provides opportunities to glorify God, serve other people, and grow to be like Christ. (Romans 8:28-29; I Corinthians 10:31 – 11:1; James 1:2-4).”
(The mission of Peacemaker Ministries is to equip and assist Christians and their churches to respond to conflict biblically. Quote printed with permission from Peacemaker Ministries).
